Materials for luminescent magnetic defectoscopy

/ / / Materials for luminescent magnetic defectoscopy

The materials for luminescent magnetic defectoscopy are used for detection of surface and undersurface defects in the articles, details and semifinished products made of ferromagnetic materials with a relative magnetic permeability not less than 40 when conducting non-destructive testing by a magnet powder method.

For discovering different defects on the surface (lacks of penetration, cracks) and undersurface defects (such as mould cavities) in articles made of ferromagnetic materials.

High sensitivity level, increased fluorescent brightness of flaw detection materials.

Operation condition

These materials are used in a dry form (sputtering on the surface) and as a composition of liquid suspension.

Recommendations for use are presented with a complete technical documentation by the manufacturer.
