V.M. Isaev (Deputy Director for Scientific Work at AO "NPP "ISTOK" IM. SHOKINA") and P.A. Vernik (Director of the Consortium "Passive Electronic Components") delivered welcoming speeches and reports regarding the scientific and technical challenges of developing and manufacturing passive electronic components. More than 80 representatives from organizations and enterprises of the radio-electronic industry attended the discussion.
As a result of the discussion, groundwork was laid for further in-depth consideration of these issues at the dedicated event of the Russian Forum "Microelectronics 2026," which will be held from September 27 to October 3, 2026, at the Sirius University of Science and Technology.

On April 15, 2026, within the framework of the "ExpoElectronica 2026" exhibition (Crocus Expo IEC), an expert discussion titled "Scientific and Technical Challenges in the Development and Manufacturing of Passive Electronic Components" took place.
