Photophosphors

Photophosphors are chemical compounds which have the properties to store the accumulated energy under the excitation by ultra-violet (UV), visible and infra-red (IR) light; to convert and re-emit in the wide spectral range. Photophosphors possess their own afterglow of any duration time after ceasing the excitation.
