Phosphors excited by VUV-emission (vacuum ultraviolet)

Phosphors are intended to convert the gas discharge emission of different inert gas mixtures in the vacuum ultraviolet spectrum range (140-180 nm) into a visible emission of various colors.

Application

In plasma screens for displaying sign, graphic and video information.
